It has taken me a few days to formulate a response to the pathetic and callous display by Democrats during President Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress last week.
As I watched every Democrat remain mutely planted on their asses in the House chamber as a 13-year-old boy was honored for his courageous battle against brain cancer, I couldn’t help wondering what my late parents, my grandparents, and various uncles, aunts, and cousins—all lifelong Democrats who have since joined the Great Majority—must be thinking about such heartless and pitiless behavior. …READ MORE…

One week after the US paused military assistance to Ukraine, including intelligence sharing, Washington says it has changed its mind. The announcement follows talks in Saudi Arabia where Kyiv said it will back a US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Russia. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said it’s now up to the Kremlin to make a move. He added that if Moscow says no to the proposal – the US would conclude Russia is the real impediment to peace. US President Donald Trump said he’s hopeful Russia will agree to the ceasefire proposal quickly.

Has the Federal Department of Education Actually Improved Educational Outcomes?
The left are totally aghast that President Trump’s plans to shut down the federal Department of Education are beginning to be put into action. “Students will suffer harm,” CNN told us, after department’s civil rights office was ‘gutted.’ Education professionals in Charlotte are “sounding the alarm,” “Ten percent of the district’s funding comes from the feds, used to pay for basic educational needs, staffing and professional development,” and “‘We really don’t know who, which department, what positions, who’s controlling what really, it’s up in the air right now,’ said Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board Vice Chair Dee Rankin.” readers were told, which raises the obvious questions: why are local schools being partially funded by the feds, and why should the feds be controlling anything?
