The Strategic Imperative: Why China Might Simultaneously Target Taiwan and Japan
While a simultaneous attack on both Taiwan and Japan may seem like a drastic escalation, such a scenario aligns with China's overarching goals
One thing we fail to pay attention to when considering strategic warfighting, is agility...the ability to deal with several major conflicts at once. If I am the Chinese Leadership and wish to make a move before Trump takes office, I would consider the release of another "pandemic," and while the U.S. is dealing with it, make a move on Formosa and possibly Japan. The Biden administration is ill-equipped to handle such actions simultaneously.
