The Left appears to have turned on Fani Willis.
Like rats deserting a sinking ship, many in the legacy media are now calling for her to recuse herself from the case.
Many of us were demoralized by Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee’s decision on Friday to allow District Attorney Fani Willis to continue prosecuting the RICO case against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants. McAfee ruled that Willis may carry on as long as she fires ex-lover Nathan Wade, whom she hired as the special prosecutor in the case in November 2021. Wade resigned from the position on Friday.
Throughout McAfee’s 23-page ruling, he sharply criticized both Willis and Wade for their questionable testimony and their “bad choices.” Yet, he concluded, “Georgia law does not permit the finding of an actual conflict for simply making bad choices – even repeatedly.” READ MORE…
Everything Is Wonderful at West Point
Since everything at West Point is wonderful, there’s no concern about Duty, Honor, Country being dumped from the Mission statement. Carry on.
The Superintendent of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY sent a letter to all graduates saying after 18 months of deliberation with unnamed stake holders, the Senior Army leaders changed the mission statement of USMA to align it with Army Values. Indeed, it is implied, everything is wonderful at West Point. Beat Navy!
That’s probably what the Superintendent would have written a week before the 1976 Cheating Scandal.
In fact, there many, many things that are wonderful about West Point then and now. Primarily, it is the Cadets. The young men and women at West Point are an awesome group of volunteers. They will serve well in the Army. They will do good things outside of the Army. The long, gray line will continue. READ MORE…
Did Anti-White, DEI Bias Steal a State Final Spot From a White Basketball Team?
Some say it was the worst call they’ve ever seen in high-school basketball.
The scene was the recent NJSIAA Group 2 state semifinal game between New Jersey team Camden — a powerhouse that hadn’t lost to another NJ public-school squad in five years — and underdog Manasquan. Down 46-45 after Camden player Alijah Curry sank a couple of free throws, Manasquan drove down the floor with 5.8 seconds left on the clock. One of its players took a long shot, which bounced off the rim — into the waiting hand of teammate Griffin Linstra, who laid the ball up through the hoop, releasing it with 0.6 seconds left on the clock.
The Central Regional High School gymnasium erupted in celebration, with Linstra’s shot being called good. But then it happened.
A Camden coach ran over and tapped one of the exiting officials, Kevin Torres, on the shoulder, and “a group of Camden coaches pleaded for the referees to meet,”…READ MORE
Beneath the U.S. Dollar's veneer of stability, lies a delicate construct, fraught with vulnerabilities and historical intricacies.
In the intricate web of global finance, the US dollar has long reigned supreme, its value perceived as an unshakeable cornerstone of stability. Yet, beneath this veneer lies a delicate construct, fraught with vulnerabilities and historical intricacies. The turning point came in 1971, when President Nixon severed the dollar's ties to the gold standard, unleashing its potential as a fiat currency. This pivotal decision, concealed within the shadows of a clandestine meeting far earlier at Jekyll Island in 1910, laid the groundwork for a monetary system built on trust rather than intrinsic value.
The Federal Reserve, created by this meeting in 1910, is shrouded in ambiguity. Despite its semblance of official authority, the Federal Reserve is, in essence, a consortium of private banks, wielding immense power…READ MORE
