Face-off in Atlanta could be the most consequential debate in political history
Former President Donald Trump told supporters last week that he will be facing three opponents at the upcoming debate: President Joe Biden and two of CNN’s most partisan hosts.
Rather than reading prepared remarks from a teleprompter, Biden will be required to think on his feet and to convey his thoughts in a coherent manner, processes that have become increasingly difficult for him.
Former President Donald Trump told supporters last week that he will be facing three opponents at the upcoming debate: President Joe Biden and two of CNN’s most partisan hosts, moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.
The stakes are high for both Biden and Trump at Thursday night’s showdown in Atlanta. With approximately 20% of voters still undecided, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, the two men will pull out all the stops to win them over.
Don’t expect to see the stumbling, bumbling Biden we’ve grown accustomed to - the one who often devolves into gibberish and has trouble navigating his way into a Chevy Suburban. He will be replaced by the angry, loud, overstimulated Biden whose aggressive demeanor took us all by surprise at the March State of the Union address. As Trump put it so eloquently at his Philadelphia rally on Saturday, Biden will be “all jacked up” after “he gets a shot in the a**.” …READ MORE…
Bad Causes Attract Bad People
"The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." — George Orwell, 1984
As we noted three years ago, The Lincoln Project, an organization of anti-Trump "Republicans" which had been doing everything they could to hamper our 45th President, was then distancing itself from and denying any real knowledge about co-founder John Weaver. Many publicly mused about how co-founders George Conway, Steve Schmidt, Reed Galen, Jennifer Horn, and Rick Wilson could not have known about Mr Weaver’s activities. Twenty-one young men, including one who claims that things began when he was just 14, have accused Mr Weaver of sending unwanted sexually provocative messages, sometimes including solicitations for sex, often in exchange for the promise of career help, to which Mr Weaver admitted once caught…READ MORE…
Bob Good Can Be Great
Conservativism is based on principles. Republicanism is about power. For Conservatives, the Republican Party is the means to power. Hard stop.
It’s likely, despite the election irregularities, that Bob Good will lose his seat in Congress – VA 5 CD. That loss demonstrates the greatest weakness about Donald Trump – which is Trump himself. Trump’s super, uber, worthy-of-its-own clinical category narcissism drives his infantile pettiness. Meanwhile, actually losing the day-to-day demands of being a caring, active Congressman can free Bob Good to be the leader of Movement Conservatism until DeSantis steps up again for a Presidential run in 2028…READ MORE…
Federalist 36 and 37; What is a Poll Tax and Why Term Limits Matter
“There are strong minds in every walk of life that will rise superior to the disadvantages of situation, and will command the tribute due to their merit, not only from the classes to which they particularly belong, but from the society in general.”
Hamilton as Publius, opens Federalist 36 with a discussion of the type of person who would likely be elected to the House of Representatives. “There are strong minds in every walk of life that will rise superior to the disadvantages of situation, and will command the tribute due to their merit, not only from the classes to which they particularly belong, but from the society in general.”[1]
Hamilton uses the character of the House of Representatives as a rebuttal to the objection that the new federal government would not be able to take into account the individual states’ uniqueness when it comes to taxation…READ MORE…
The Fragility of Freedom: The Decline of Judeo-Christian Values and Its Impact on American Governance
John Adams once asserted that the U.S. Constitution was designed only for a moral and religious people and government's success hinged on the virtue and morality of its citizens.
As leftist extremists in the United States push for cultural shifts away from Judeo-Christian values, the foundations of our governance, established since 1776, face unprecedented threats. If immoral behavior becomes widespread, the system that has maintained our nation for centuries risks collapse.
The system of government in the United States relies on the self-discipline and ethical conduct of its citizens. The Constitution presumes a populace capable of self-governance, guided by principles of integrity and justice. However, as societal norms shift dramatically, moving away from traditional values, the framework of this system weakens. A society that abandons its moral compass can no longer sustain the democratic processes that rely on trust, honesty, and mutual respect…READ MORE…
When Does a Generation Gap Become a Generational Canyon? (Part 2)
Generation gaps have no doubt existed on this planet since the first homo sapiens appeared about 200,000 years ago. However, the drastic differences that the term implies were not much in evidence until the twentieth century.
Accomplished wordsmith William Safire once defined a generation gap as "a frustrating lack of communication between young and old, or a useful stretch of time that separates cultures within a society, allowing them to develop their own character."
That's a pretty good definition. But it doesn't tell the whole story.

"Illegally Present."
The feds have a new term for illegal aliens. But remember, they are only here to commit the crimes Americans won’t do. Did I say that?
"Illegally Present," the latest term ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has for an illegal alien. Two "Illegally Presents" just murdered a 12-year-old girl in Houston. Thankfully they have not been released on recognizance (ROR) yet. While the DA has asked for a one-million-dollar bail, that is an outrage. In Texas, you can automatically deny bail for capital murder. If anyone deserves that, these two do.
So, what did these two future Democratic voters do you ask?…READ MORE…

"Why do you greet me that way? Is it to remind me of what day it is? Is it to remind yourself of what day it is? What's going on, anyway?"

Joe Biden Is An Elder Abuse Victim
America is witnessing Joe’s rapid mental & physical decline daily. An everyday wife would be charged with elder abuse & Joe would be removed from her care.
What in the world was the White House minions thinking when they proclaimed June 15th to be “World Elder Abuse Awareness Day?” Were they trying to make Americans laugh? Was this a cry for help? Were they trying, not so subtlety, to tell us what they are dealing with everyday, in hopes the DNC will nominate a candidate without dementia? Their convention is just weeks away, in Chicago, August 19 to 22, 2024. They know he will not live to complete a second term because he vital organs are starting to shut down. Do they fear or hate the thought of “President Harris” so much that they are stabbing the Puppet President in the back with this proclamation?…READ MORE…
Blame It on the Heatwave, Not the Hysteria of Climate Change
Let’s take a moment to step away from the hysteria and look at some of the more mundane reasons why it’s so hot outside. Spoiler alert: it’s not because the world is ending and climate change.
Summer: The season of ice cream, beach trips, and, if you listen to the talking heads on TV, imminent climate apocalypse. It’s almost as if the sun rising in the east and setting in the west isn't dramatic enough for them. But let’s take a moment to step away from the hysteria and look at some of the more mundane reasons why it’s so hot outside. Spoiler alert: it’s not because the world is ending and climate change.
First up, it’s summer, folks. Newsflash: summer is hot. Every year, like clockwork, we’re reminded that the Earth tilts on its axis, giving one hemisphere longer days and more direct sunlight. This phenomenon, known to anyone who paid attention in grade school science, causes temperatures to rise…READ MORE…
