Are We Choosing the Right Side?
What can we learn from the King Solomon's wisdom books in the Bible? When he wrote that "the heart of the wise inclines to the right," was he talking politics?
King Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, had a lot to say about foolishness and wisdom. Three books of the Bible are generally attributed to him--Proverbs, Song of Solomon, and Ecclesiastes. These three books and the additional books of Job and Psalms make up what is known as wisdom literature, because all five books share a perspective on the value of wisdom and how to achieve it…READ MORE…
Farming Out Life Skills
How ridiculous is it that Life Coaches are an industry? Instead of working on a farm to learn life skills, too many people farm it out.
This is not an indictment of life coaches. This is an indictment of the society that needs them. All a “life coach” does is to teach a coddled soul the skills they would have learned if they had just been raised on a farm. They use modern techniques. They have calm and soothing voices as they guide you through breathing exercises. They are useful and helpful and maybe even necessary to the lives of those who seek them. But they are capitalizing on the fact that masses of people were not raised right. They do a good service, but that service is only compensating for First World offspring. What a Life Coach does is to give skills that an average person would have learned throwing hay, not so many years ago…READ MORE…
Get Out Of the ‘Lift Chair!’

Often times, young people will listen to US — strangers — and allow their eyes and hearts to be opened through the wisdom WE share with them, much more readily than they’d ever listen to their own parents or Grandparents. So don’t underestimate yourself. God’s not done with you yet, and it’s up to you how you will use your remaining years…READ MORE…

Examining the existence of God from a legal perspective using the standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt" can provide unique and interesting insights.
The existence of God is a topic that has been debated for centuries, often within philosophical and theological frameworks. However, examining this question from a legal perspective using the standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt" can provide unique insights. This standard, typically reserved for criminal cases, demands a high level of certainty before a conclusion is reached. Applying this burden of proof to arguments for God's existence reveals compelling points that transcend mere belief and enter the realm of reasoned argumentation…READ MORE…
